Sean M. Hamill joined Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara in 2020. Prior to joining Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, Sean practiced law in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and insurance defense.

Sean has extensive experience in the area of personal injury representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Having worked for both sides, Sean is uniquely positioned to bring insight as to the most effective paths to achieve favorable results for clients. Through a combination of careful analysis and passionate advocacy, Sean has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of severely injured clients.

At Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara, Sean focuses his practice on the litigation of personal injury matters, wrongful death, medical malpractice, contract disputes, real estate and land use matters, and probate litigation. Sean is experienced in both the courtroom and in the areas of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Sean lives in Ridgefield, Connecticut with his wife Maggie and their four children.
