Mark J. Schnitzler, was born in Mineola, New York. He attended the State University of New York, College at Brockport in Brockport, New York. After graduating from Brockport, he worked as a paralegal for the Legal Aid Society throughout New York City. He received his J.D., with honors, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003 where he was a member of the Probate Law Journal and the Mock Trial Honor Society.
Mr. Schnitzler began his legal career as captive litigation counsel for an insurance company and then litigated complex cases in the Connecticut office of a large national law firm. He joined Ivey, Barnum & O’Mara in 2009.
Mr. Schnitzler's areas of practice include commercial and general litigation. He handles various product liability matters including litigation and recall related issues. He is admitted to the bars of the States of Connecticut and New York. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York. He is a member of the Fairfield County, Greenwich and Connecticut Bar Associations.
