Carol J. Faherty

Carol J. Faherty attended the College of the Holy Cross and received a B.A. in English in 1997.  She received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law in 2002 where she was a member and Associate Editor of the Connecticut Law Review and received the CALI Excellence Award in Torts and Contracts.

Carol began her legal career with Kelley Drye & Warren, LLP in its Stamford, Connecticut and New York City offices.  She joined Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, LLC in 2008.  Her areas of practice include commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Carol also practices in the area of matrimonial and family law.

Carol is admitted to the Bars of the states of Connecticut and New York, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Southern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  Carol is a member of the Greenwich, Fairfield County and Connecticut Bar Associations.

Carol is a member of OPUS, a volunteer organization that supports Person-to-Person, a Darien-based community agency and has served as a volunteer attorney for Lawyers for Children of America.
